CAMP AOII 2024
This event experience is designed just for emerging leaders of AOII collegiate chapters and will be held in two sessions in the summer of 2024. Camp AOII focuses on making new connections and developing leadership skills that can be used in AOII, on-campus, and beyond. Limited spaces are available, but spots will be reserved for each chapter to send at least one emerging leader to participate.
Facilitator opportunities will be available for exceptional and energetic facilitators who want to make Camp AOII a memorable and impactful experience for all AOII collegiate attendees. Selected facilitators will receive training on-site on a provided facilitator guide and Camp AOII programming and will have an opportunity to lead discussions throughout the program with AOII emerging leaders.
2024 Camp AOII sessions will take place at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
Session 1: June 27-30, with facilitators arriving June 26
Session 2: July 11-14, with facilitators arriving July 10
Collegiate Member Registration Timeline
Priority registration will be open from Monday, April 1 – Thursday, April 11, during which, each collegiate chapter will be able to register one emerging leader to attend Camp AOII.
Open Registration starts April 15 at 12 p.m. CDT for additional emerging leaders on a first come, first served basis for any remaining spots. Registration will close on April 30 or when all available spots are filled, whichever occurs first.
Facilitator Applications
We are looking for exceptional and energetic facilitators who want to continue to make Camp AOII a memorable and impactful experience for all AOII collegiate members who attend.
Small group facilitators will receive training on-site, be assigned a group of around 10 collegiate participants, and facilitate small group discussions and activities using a provided facilitator guide with the collegiate participants throughout Camp AOII. In addition to ~10 small group facilitators selected for each session of Camp AOII, there will also be two lead facilitators.
Lead facilitators will facilitate the general sessions to all ~90 collegiate attendees using a provided facilitator guide.
All selected facilitators must be available to fully participate in the entirety of the Camp AOII experience, including living in the chapter facility. Camp AOII is a drug and alcohol-free educational program and environment. All facilitators and participants, regardless of age, are not to bring or use alcohol or drugs during the event.
Selected facilitators will be notified by April 1 and travel costs to and from the event will be covered by AOII.
Facilitator roles are open to AOII alumnae and friends of the Fraternity.
The facilitator application will close on March 10, 2024 .
