Advising With Ambition Fall 2023

Advising with Ambition sessions are being offered once again! They are 1.5 hour-long training sessions hosted by the AOII Training Ambassadors created to provide additional support and guidance to our advisors. There are two types of workshop sessions, Advising Basics and Effective Coaching Strategies.

• Advising Basics Sessions are recommended to advisors (or network volunteers) who are new to their CCAB or anyone who’d like a quick refresher.
• Effective Coaching Strategies Sessions are recommended to advisors (or network volunteers) who would like to feel more comfortable coaching collegiate officers and gain tips/insight on how to best support this generation’s officers.

Another way to receive some tips, trainings, and help with learning best practices: Request a Training Ambassador on AlphaLink for additional CCAB/ET support. Go to AlphaLink, click your chapter in the top right corner, and then Forms & Reports > Ambassador Visit Request. Ambassador travel is funded by the Fraternity and the chapter is responsible for finding overnight accommodations (if necessary) and meals during the visit.
