Advising With Ambition Is Back Again!
Advising with Ambition sessions are being offered once again! They are 1.5 hour-long training sessions hosted by the AOII Training Ambassadors created to provide additional support and guidance to our advisors. There are two types of workshop sessions, Advising Basics and Effective Coaching Strategies.
- Advising with Ambition: Advising Basics is open to all but geared towards new advisors or advisors looking for a refresher and covers important information such as using the AOII ends in your role, understanding AOII’s big picture, where to find your tools & resources (AlphaLink and Fulfilling the Promise), coaching vs. doing, your advisor responsibilities, and setting expectations with your officer!
- Advising with Ambition: Effective Coaching Strategies is for advisors and volunteers looking for additional training on coaching collegians. This session will cover ways to improve your coaching skills as an advisor, ways to better connect with/support your officer, understanding Gen Z, and more!
