Who is invited to attend Leadership Academy 2025?

All 2024-2025 collegiate chapter Executive Teams (Chapter President, VP Operations, VP Programming & Enrichment, VP Membership Recruitment, VP Community Relations, VP Membership Experience, and VP Membership Integrity) and the Chapter Advisor should be in attendance for Leadership Academy. 

In addition, advisor track sessions will be open for all other Executive Team-level Advisors (Community Relations Advisor, Membership Experience Advisor, Membership Integrity Advisor, Membership Recruitment Advisor, Operations Advisor, Programming & Enrichment Advisor), who should register to receive track information.  

When and where will Leadership Academy be held?

LA will be held Saturday and Sunday January 4 and 5 as a virtual event which will take place via Zoom.  

What are the costs to attend Leadership Academy?

A flat registration fee of $450 per chapter will be invoiced to the chapter in December. The flat fee covers all 7 collegiate participants and CCAB attendees per chapter and will not be pro-rated. Collegiate attendees who register by the December 1 deadline will participate in keynote and breakout educational sessions, officer trainings, and will receive a mailed LA 2025 participant package.  

In order to provide training to all ET level advisors without increasing registration costs, only collegiate attendees will receive mailed LA materials. All advisor materials will be provided electronically.  

Attendees will not be charged individually at the time of registration. 

Are there opportunities to reduce registration fees?

The AOII Foundation has generously provided a grant to reduce the Leadership Academy registration fee by $100 for select chapters. Chapters who have at least two advisors registered to attend will be eligible for this registration fee reduction. 

What is the timeline for registration?

Registration opens on November 1, 2024 and closes on December 1, 2024. For chapters hosting elections after December 1, please email events@alphaomicronpi.org as soon as possible to make registration arrangements.

How do I know that my registration was received?

If you have successfully registered for LA, you will see your name listed on the Attendee tab. You can access the attendee tab by selecting the Registration tile and navigating to the Attendee tab at the top of the page. 

What should I wear to Leadership Academy?

What should I have prepared to attend Leadership Academy?

  • Check to make sure you have the Zoom application downloaded (and updated to the most current version 
  • Bring a pen and notebook to take notes 
  • Have your AOII LA 2025 Participant Workbook handy 
  • Have snacks & water in your workspace and plan your meals accordingly, as breaks in the schedule will go by quickly  
  • Ensure that you are in a quiet location where you are able to turn your camera on and unmute during various sessions

Where will I find my Zoom links?

All registered attendees will receive an email the week of Leadership Academy with a schedule that includes Zoom links. 

When will I receive my LA package?

For collegiate attendees registered before the registration deadline of December 1, you will receive a package with LA materials, which will be shipped by December 15 to the address listed on your registration. 

Please remember that the postal service is busy during the holidays and shipping times may take longer than normal, both domestically and to Canada. Providing a fully accurate address at the time of registration, that can receive mail from Dec 15-Jan 5, is important to help your package arrive as soon as possible; please double check before you submit your registration!  

You do not need your package to participate in the event. We will provide an electronic copy of the workbook for all attendees to use if needed.  

   

Can I transfer my registration?

Registration can be transferred from one attendee to another at no charge until December 1, 2024. After Dec 1, all completed transfers will be assessed a $50 transfer fee. Packages may be shipped to the initial registered attendee depending on the time of your transfer. To initiate a transfer of the registration, email events@alphaomicronpi.org.
