Education Sessions
Alpha Omicron Pi’s International Convention, taking place in Palm Springs, California, from June 18–22, 2025, features a variety of educational programs led by dynamic and engaging speakers. Convention offers both in-depth education tracks and energizing short-form sessions, designed to provide attendees with valuable learning experiences and encouraging connections with AOII!
There are two speaking opportunities available:
Education Tracks (~50 minute session)
Education Tracks should align with one of AOII’s Ends: Ambition, DEI, Leadership, Sense of Belonging, or Service. Ideal topics may cover personal development, collegiate and alumnae chapter operations, and professional or skill development for AOII volunteers. Great programs are impactful, engaging, and interactive, and are applicable to AOIIs across various roles and generations—Convention attendees include collegiate chapter officers, members, and alumnae advisors; alumnae chapter officers and members; and international volunteers from across the United States and Canada! This opportunity is open to all and not limited to AOII members. Applications for Education Tracks are now closed for 2025.
Inspiration Sessions (~7 minute session)
What’s that one thing you love talking about- the topic you could deep-dive into for hours, binge podcasts on, or could inspire others just by sharing? At AOII, we believe in Inspiring Ambition, and now it’s your turn! Whether it’s a hidden talent, personal passion, or life lesson, we want to hear it. Inspiration Sessions are like mini TED-talks: fun, fast, and all about sharing what you’re passionate about. Creativity is encouraged! Applications are open until Thursday, May 12 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
