The Value Of AOII’s Ambassador Programs
They are storytellers, ambitionists, motivators and champions of an exceptional AOII membership experience… They are AOII Recruitment and Training Ambassadors. For the 2017-2018 academic year, AOII has a collective 13 alumnae serving as Recruitment Ambassadors and 16 alumnae serving as Training Ambassadors. The Recruitment Ambassadors are deployed to assist with values-based recruitment conversations, branding and membership selection, while the Training Ambassadors are called upon to train Alumnae Advisory Committees on their role responsibilities. These volunteers represent chapters all across North America and come from a variety of professions. They are experts at weaving activities and everyday life metaphors into their trainings, in an effort to engage a multitude of learning styles.
These trained facilitators are sought after by chapters wanting innovation, collaboration and ultimately an increased level of engagement at their recruitment workshops or Alumnae Advisory Committee meetings. The ambassadors work side by side with the chapter leaders and network volunteers to customize their presentations.
