2022 Summer Internship Applications Extended
AOII is now accepting applications for summer internships with AOII HQ. The application deadline has been extended to April 15, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. CT. AOII collegians may be selected for non-paid remote or in-person positions, running from early June through late July, to work in the following areas:
Archives
- This intern will work directly with the Director of Communications, International Historian and other members of the Communications Department to support ongoing archival efforts saluting the Fraternity’s 125th Anniversary, as well as updates to the archives museum. The position may be remote or in-person. If remote, work will include researching and writing chapter histories, working on the Fraternity’s website timeline and helping secure historic photos. If in-person, the role will be expanded to include more hands-on opportunities within the archives museum. Interest in museum history is a plus.
Communications Department
- Working closely with the AOII Communications Department, this intern position will support our Digital Marketing Manager and Communications Content Manager with projects such as editing videos for AOII events, social media campaigns, TikTok strategy and video development and other supportive tasks for video creation, such as script writing, storyboarding and collecting footage. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects, and a passion for content creation are crucial to perform these responsibilities.
Education, Training and Events Department
- This intern position will work in collaboration with the Education, Training, and Events department on record updates, officer training modules/ resources, and supporting event preparations for AOII’s summer leadership conferences. Projects may include assisting with writing and editing for officer training resources and modules; idea sharing for updates to the Promise and AOIIs New Member Experience program; final event planning preparations; and cataloging and entering historical data.
