Frequently Asked Questions
Can I serve on an CCAB and as an ambassador at the same time?
Yes! Many current ambassadors also serve on a CCAB, on a standing committee, in an alumnae chapter, etc. The time commitment for the role will be the same for all ambassadors, so please ensure that you can meet the requirements if you choose to apply for this role in addition to a current role.
What kinds of visits are offered?
All visits switched to virtual for the 2020-21 academic year and hosted over Zoom. We have resumed in-person visits and now offer chapters a choice for in-person or virtual visits!
What is the time commitment of this role?
Per visit, ambassadors spend up to 10 hours planning, prepping, and facilitating. Over the course of the year, ambassadors facilitate up for up to 6 chapters. Ambassadors serve in a two-year term (July 2022-May 2024).
Please be advised that attendance at training from Friday, July 22- Sunday, July 24 is a mandatory component of position placement for all three ambassador positions.
