Are you like me and love our AOII jewelry? Are you always looking for a new piece of AOII jewelry to buy for a special sister or yourself? If you answered “yes” to either or both of these questions, let’s test your AOII Jewelry knowledge.

Where can I purchase approved AOII Jewelry?

The AOII Emporium and Herff Jones are the two approved vendors of our jewelry. Have you checked out their websites lately to view their jewelry options?

The AOII Emporium offers earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Items begin at under $30, so the next time you need a gift for your favorite sister(s) or when your family asks what you want for a gift, consider buying it from our Emporium. In addition, they offer our new infinity rose design.

Herff Jones is our official jewelry company. You can purchase new badges, watches, bracelets (seven different styles), pendants charms, lavaliers, necklaces, milestone pieces (25-, 50-, and 75-year anniversary pins), other pins, and rings. Herff Jones even offers bubble guards to hold your badge on your clothing. Prices vary depending on the metal type and stones.

We have good news for this holiday shopping season! The AOII Emporium is offering 15% off purchases before December 31 by using the code JEWELRY15, and Herff Jones is offering free standard shipping using discount code AOPSHIP through December 31.

Why should I buy from approved vendors?

AOII has authorized these vendors to ensure that the items are high quality and trustworthy. Also, shopping with the AOII Emporium and Herff Jones means the profits from your purchases support the mission of Alpha Omicron Pi.

How many types of badges are available and what are they?

Did you answer that there are nine different badge styles? If so, you are right. Don’t you want to have an additional badge to wear on a bracelet, necklace, or ring – which can be done by collegians, as well as alumnae?

Of course, there are the beautiful Ruby A/Pearl O/Chased Pi, Ruby A/Chased O, and 11 badges that have purchasing guidelines since they are honor badges.

Among its responsibilities, the Rituals, Traditions, and Jewelry Committee (RT&J) recommends to the Executive Board how the AOII badge may be used. RT&J also determines designs and recommends official, honorary, recognition, and commemorative jewelry. We are very interested in and welcome suggestions from members for new ways to share love for our Fraternity with our jewelry. Please contact us if you have an idea that you and/or other sisters might want to see AOII offer in our jewelry. We look forward to hearing from you.

You may contact the Rituals, Traditions, and Jewelry Committee (RT&J) about anything Ritual-related at RT&J@alphaomicronpi.org.
