Alpha Omicron Pi Mourns The Loss Of Imani Crenshaw
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (October 10, 2020) –Alpha Omicron Pi is devastated to share the loss of our sister, Imani Crenshaw, 20, a collegiate member of AOII’s Gamma Sigma Chapter at Georgia State University. She was initiated into Alpha Omicron Pi in the fall of 2019, and was studying neuroscience at Georgia State University.
The sisters of AOII share our deepest condolences to Imani’s family, friends and to the sisters of the Gamma Sigma Chapter. It is our hope that members will find the support they need through the ties of sisterhood and comfort from friends and family. We are thankful for the Georgia State University community and all those who are offering support to our members, while keeping Imani’s loved ones in their thoughts during this difficult time.
The Fraternity will provide information at a later date about a formal draping of the badge in coordination with the Gamma Sigma Chapter to celebrate Imani’s life. AOII encourages the collegiate and alumnae chapters to hold the Memorial Ritual for Chapters and Members, a ceremony intended for initiated members of Alpha Omicron Pi to honor a deceased member. More information will be add as we receive it from Imani’s sisters or loved ones.
