Nominating Trustee Application Now Open

Are you interested in participating in the Executive Board election process for the next biennium?

The Nominating Trustees (NTs) consist of six AOII alumnae who screen and evaluate candidates and develop the final ballot of candidates for election to the Executive Board (XB) by members of Council at International Convention. The group will review the candidate interest forms, determine whether candidates meet the minimum qualifications of Board membership, interview candidates, conduct reference checks, and create the final ballot for the 2021-2023 Executive Board.

The Nominating Trustees will include the following six members:

1. Alumnae Chapter President (AP) – she will submit her application to the NTs, who will then select the best qualified AP representative.
2. Chapter Adviser (CA) – she will submit her application to the NTs, who will then select the best qualified CA representative.
3. Past International President (PIP) – The PIPs recommend their representative and the PIP candidate submits her application to the NTs, which is then vetted officially through the application process.
4. Current or former Executive Board Member (not standing for election) – The XB recommends their representative and the candidate submits her application to the NTs, which is then vetted officially through the application process.
5. Rituals, Traditions, & Jewelry Committee Member – The RT&J Committee recommends their representative and the candidate submits her application to the NTs, which is then vetted officially through the application process.
6. Member-at-Large from a group not already represented above will submit her application to the NTs who will then choose the best qualified representative. Member-at-Large may include network representation, committee representation or any other membership designation.
7. In addition, the Chairman of the Human Resources Committee serves as a liaison for the Nominating Trustees.
