A-O-(Silent) Disco!
Join Us!
You are invited to join AOII for an incredible experience of music, dancing and philanthropy as we raise money to help make a child’s Disney dream a reality!
Following the Awards Banquet on Thursday, June 27, Convention attendees will hit the dance floor for a great cause and a great time at a silent disco party. A donation of only $10 secures your admission ticket to sing and dance like nobody is watching and contribute to fulfilling a child’s dream! Proceeds from ticket purchases will benefit the Disney Wish Experience which affords a child who has a life threatening medical condition the opportunity to visit Disney.
“What is a silent disco?”
A silent disco is an event that invites all generations to gather and dance while listening to several genres of music through a set of headphones. As three DJs mix up the perfect stations of oldies and today’s top hits, you will be able to dance and sing the night away with your sisters. The kicker? There’s no actual music playing from loud speakers. It is only played through the attendee’s headphones which means you are in control of the music. Listen to one station the entire time, or flip back and forth between all three to hear a combination of past and present music. The DJs will battle for your attention as they try to provide the best music to move and groove to.
As if this event couldn’t get any better, we are adding an element of friendly competition to see which Network can secure the most attendees to participate in the event! Individuals from the Network with the most participants will be entered into a drawing to win fun prizes!
We hope you are excited to experience song, dance and laughter with sisters at the silent disco party and can’t wait to see you in Peninsula Ballroom 4 after the Awards Banquet!

Pre-Convention registration closes Monday, June 17 at 12:00 PM CT
Fundraise Your Way to Convention
Lacking funds for your trip to an AOII international event? Check out these ideas for you and/or your alumnae chapter to support additional sisters attending international events.
Forever Friends
AOII’s Forever Friends program is a wonderful way to say “thank you” to a sister for all she contributes to AOII. It is designed specifically to recognize the women who make AOII stronger through dedication and love. You can honor a sister for $30.00 through this special program.
Rose Tributes
Rose Tributes are a special tradition during International Convention!
For a $5 contribution, you can purchase a Rose Tribute in honor of a special sister. The honoree will receive an acknowledgement card and a small embroidered rose for each Rose Tribute purchased in her honor.
New this year, for every $100 or more donation in Rose Tributes, the donor will receive a large embroidered AOII Foundation replica rose. The rose will be added to the donor’s name badge as added recognition for their level of support.
The pre-order deadline to purchase Rose Tributes for them to be included in mailboxes upon Convention arrival is Friday, May 24.
Panda Donations
AOIIs have the opportunity to donate money to help purchase pandas for children who attend Juvenile Arthritis Conferences. With your support, the Fraternity will purchase pandas in bulk to ensure that each child gets a panda that is the same size and quality as their peers.
Donations are typically given in the amounts of $5, $10, $25, $50 or any other amount you wish to donate. Any level of donation is greatly appreciated.
