AOII’s 2019-2020 Educational Leadership Consultant Team
Alpha Omicron Pi is thrilled to announce our extraordinary ELC team for the 2019-2020 academic year. Ten outstanding members have accepted our employment offer. They are:
Lauren Elliott from our Alpha Chi (Western Kentucky U) chapter. Lauren served her chapter of initiation as Chapter President, Vice President of Standards, Assistant Vice President of Membership Recruitment and Alumnae Relations Chair in addition to service on her campus. Lauren will graduate this spring with a degree in interdisciplinary studies with business emphasis and minors in sales and organizational leadership.
Katie Johnson from our Alpha Pi (Florida State U) chapter. Katie is a talented dancer who is earning a degree in dance from FSU. She served her chapter as Vice President of Membership Recruitment and Alumnae Relations Chair as well as roles in various campus activities such as Dance Marathon Membership Captain, Order of Omega and multiple national honor societies.
Haley Joyner from our Sigma Gamma (Appalachian State U) chapter. Haley comes to us having served Sigma Gamma in Panhellenic, programming and Property Manager roles. She was also very active in planning a large service event for her community outside of her various campus activities. Haley will earn a degree in recreation management with a concentration in parks and recreation and a minor in psychology.
Kirsten Kron from our Sigma Alpha (West Virginia U) chapter. Kirsten’s roles in Sigma Alpha included Chapter President, Vice President of Communications, Secretary and Alumnae Relations Chair. Kirsten also served AOII and the greater fraternal community by serving as a Capitol Hill representative student lobbyist. She earned her BA in political science with a minor in business administration and philosophy from WVU in December 2018.
Emily Leonard from our Delta Omega (Murray State U) chapter. Emily will earn a BS in public relations with a minor in marketing this May. Emily is originally from the St. Louis, Missouri area. She has served as Vice President of Standards for Delta Omega in addition to various committee and campus leadership roles.
Erin Miller from our Theta Iota (California State U, San Marcos) chapter. Erin has served Theta Iota as Chapter President and Social Chair as well as multiple committee roles over her collegiate career. Her family is from the Seattle, Washington area. She earned a BA in human development in December 2018.
Hope Mullett from our Alpha Lambda (Georgia Southern U) chapter. Hope is the past Vice President of Administration and New Member Educator for Alpha Lambda and also served her chapter in many campus leadership roles. She has traveled extensively internationally and will earn a degree in international studies with a minor in Spanish this May.
Sarah Nixon from our Alpha Pi (Florida State U) chapter. Sarah served Alpha Pi as New Member Educator and Keeper of Ritual, and will earn a degree this spring in psychology, with a minor in elementary education. She is also a graduate of the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute and was involved in many major campus leadership roles at FSU in addition to various AOII committee roles.
Gabby Rivera from our Upsilon (U of Washington) chapter. Gabby served her campus as Panhellenic President and on student government as well as Upsilon’s New Member Educator and Alumnae Relations Chair. Gabby will earn a BA in medical anthropology and global health this spring.
Katie Taylor from our Zeta Psi (East Carolina U) chapter. Katie served Zeta Psi as Chapter President, New Member Educator, and Assistant New Member Education and will earn a degree in business administration: management this spring. Katie also served on multiple committees for Zeta Psi and was active in various community service volunteer roles.
These women were tops among nearly 80 outstanding applicants to the ELC program and truly represent the exceptional membership experiences that our chapters provide. Please join us in congratulating and welcoming this team! They will join us at International Convention this summer and begin their terms shortly thereafter.
