July Is Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month

in Arthritis

Throughout the month of July, we invite all of our sisters, friends and family to join us for Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month. We will share ways to get involved as well as educational information throughout the month. This will include how we partner to support the community impacted by arthritis, including AOII’s commitment to the Arthritis Foundation, the Arthritis Foundation’s 2024 JA Family Summit, and how you can raise awareness.

AOII & The Arthritis Foundation

2024 Juvenile Arthritis (JA) Family Summit

This year the Arthritis Foundation’s annual JA Family Summit will take place in St. Louis, Missouri, where they will celebrate their 40th anniversary of the annual event! Since 1984, the Arthritis Foundation’s annual National Juvenile Arthritis Conference has been a place where kids, teens, young adults, and their families (siblings included) come together to get better informed about juvenile arthritis and other rheumatic diseases, as well as share stories and exchange tips that can make living with the condition easier. Click the link below for more information on how to register as well as JAC volunteer opportunities.
